no win no fee lawyers

Here in Austria, we have all sorts of insurance and some of these are health insurance, car insurance, life insurance, and lawyer insurance. Before coming here, I didn’t know that there’s such thing as lawyer insurance (I am not even sure if it is even the right term). When I asked my husband about it, he explained to me that if we need to go to court in the future, maybe because we were sued or we sued somebody, then we will be provided with a lawyer right away and we don’t have to worry about lawyer’s fees.

That got me thinking, will the lawyer (who will then be provided us) see to it that we will really win the case? Will the insurance company provide us with a really good lawyer? What if they just give us somebody enough to represent us in court but not enough to help us win the case?

Wouldn’t it be better to just hire a lawyer who offers no win no fee? In this way, the lawyer has the incentive to really work on the case and help you win.  I came across a website that offers such for personal injury cases and though I have no experience with them yet (frankly, I have never been in court), I think it’s a good deal. AccidentConsult.com offers not just lawyers on no win no fee base but it also offers free assessment to find out how much compensation you would get for an accident. So if you are in any kind of accident, visit their website because they might just be the company you need.

sick and blogging

Bronchitis or acute infection of the lungs is what I have now. I suspect it is because I’ve been exposed to dust and fumes of harmful cleaning chemicals in the last few days. It started with a throat irritation. I didn’t give it a thought because I was quite sure it will go away soon. Then the coughing came. I tried some home remedies first but when the painful dry coughs and the harsh voice came, I went to see the doctor.  I was then told that I have bronchitis and that I have to take antibiotics along with two other medicines (for the coughing and for the phlegm). The doctor also told me that I have to make sure that there’s enough humidity in my room because enough humidity will help ease the dry coughing.

One cool thing about being sick is that I get to stay at home. I can forget about my job for a while and just relax and do what I want to do. I don’t really feel weak and I also don’t have a fever. Except for the extremely harsh voice and the coughing, I am fine. I can walk around and do some house chores. In fact, I just continued cleaning the basement. We have our new wooden floor and our new tiles already and I want to keep them clean so that means, I also have to make the basement dust free otherwise, we will just bring the dust up from our frequent visit to the basement.

Now, I decided to stop with the cleaning. I will continue again tomorrow if I am in the mood. It is almost 5pm and soon, my husband will be home. I will use this short time to blog because I really miss blogging. It’s been weeks! It’s quite annoying because it is not like I have nothing to blog about. I actually want to blog about a lot of things but I always don’t have the time.

So now that I am sick, I will try to blog my heart out until I feel well again. :-)
