I’ve been with Odesk for two weeks now and I am really glad that I joined them. If you’re a blogger like me, maybe you’ll understand if I tell you that it is one of my dreams to be able to do a serious freelance writing job. Two weeks ago, that dream finally came true. I am now a proud contributor to an online travel magazine. I love doing freelance writing and I love the first assignment I got.
Before landing a freelance writing gig, I had to apply to job offers. I had to send impressive résumés to buyers so I needed to work my resumé first. I think that was the most difficult part. Resume writing is not easy and even now, if I have to write a resume, I read some sample resumes first. Reading free sample resumes available online was really a big help to me. I learned how to do it properly and i actually used one of them as a template for resume.
Right now, I have my default resume which I send out to buyers but most of the time, I rewrite my resume to fit to the job I am applying for. If you ever need resume writing help, search online and you’ll definitely find a sample resume that you can use to guide you make your own.
